These gatherings are meant to hold space for everyone involved to digest and express their own stories.
It goes beyond the personal too — by stepping into a supportive community and hearing the experiences of others who are also familiar with anxiety, we as a group realize that what we once thought nobody understood is actually a shared challenge amongst us.
By connecting in this way, we finally feel like we’re not alone. We have a community who gets it and isn’t quick to “fix us” but instead offers up their ears and hearts to offer support in an authentic way.
